2) China has incarcerated millions of Muslims in re-education camps and used them for forced labor in factories across the country. While many observers define China’s actions in Xinjiang as genocide, note that their persecution of Uygher Muslims in this region contrasts with the nation’s relative tolerance of Hui Muslims elsewhere in the country. Uygher and Hui are two of the fifty-six recognized ethnicities of China. The Han Chinese form the majority (close to 92%). 
Your 500-700-word current event paper should use these sources along with others that you find on your own. It should outline both major points of the conflict as well as the most recent developments.
