From the first day of class, you will be challenged to analyze your own cognitive processes. For this assignment, you will write a 5-7 page, APA style paper describing your cognitive processing, how it has changed since taking this class, and what you plan to do as you move beyond the course, regarding your cognitive processing.
In the past, students have found it helpful to keep notes and document the changes they notice in their cognitive processing throughout the semester. While this is not a requirement, it will certainly help you write this paper at the end of the course.
Some things to consider throughout the semester:
What do I believe cognition means? (at beginning, middle, and end of the semester)
How do cognitive processes impact my everyday life?
How has the information in this course changed how I experience the world around me?
How will I use what I have learned this semester to enhance my future educational or vocational goals?
What aspects of this course (topics, exercises, activities, other) have most enhanced my knowledge of Cognitive Psychology?
