Critical Response Forum – this forum is for a more thought out response that addresses: 1) the film, 2) the reading(s), and 3) your thoughts about how they relate to the culture, history, society, current events, etc., of Japan and/or other societies. It should be ~300 words.
Any response containing uncredited material by another author or a generic summary of a film that appears to be generated by ChatGPT or other artificial intelligence will receive a zero. Formal citations are not necessary, but if you refer to a specific part of the film or reading, it is helpful if you include a timestamp or page number. If you are citing a source outside the course texts, please include a citation.
