Assignment:  Relying on Criminological Theory: A Text/Reader, 3rd ed., briefly address whether young adults commit crime at higher rates than older adults (hint: they do), then discuss which theories may best (and worst) explain why young adults commit more crime than most older adults. 
Instructions:   Your essay should be three-to-four pages, twelve-point font, double-spaced with one-inch margins.  As shared before, 2-1/2 or 2-3/4’s pages do not equal three.  Support your answers and analysis with page specific citations to the assigned text.  Avoid outside sources.  (Note:  Four pages is not a hard cap, though I am mindful that without a suggested upper page limit some students may admirably but unnecessarily impose greater expectations on themselves.  Conversely, the three-page minimum requirement is intended as a hard “floor.”).
