Part 1 – Begin with two (2) pages on the place of the Holy Spirit in Christian theology—explain the role of the Spirit in the triune mission of redemption. Why does Scripture in some ways say the least about the Holy Spirit?
Part 2 – Then, in three to four (3-4) pages, discuss the important concepts in Christian articulation of the Spirit (which may include, but would not be limited to, homoousia, personhood, other-directedness) and how they seek to tell us who the Spirit is and what the Spirit does.
Part 3 – Lastly, in two to three (2-3) pages, explain why and how the doctrine of the Holy Spirit is important for the identity of the church, its formal worship of God through the church liturgy, calendar, and/or worship service, and its engagement of the world as shown by evangelism or service.
