You will be required to create a 5-7 slide PowerPoint, Google Slides, or a Canva option to present to the class. You will create your project over a person, event, or important African American history ideology. This can be anything or anyone relating to the last half of the course. Anything before the 1900s will not be accepted
Rubric Details
MLA, Chicago, or APA format
Must include three sources minimum in a bibliography on the last slide of the presentation
Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Canvas formats that can be uploaded to Canvas. If you use Google Slides, I have to have access so, please use a method that I can obtain access to the presentation. 
Historically significant to African American history or something that can connect to African Americans. 
5-7 Slides (Can be longer if you choose but no longer than 12 slides. This doesn’t include the last slide which should be the bibliography)
Prepare for a presentation of a minimum 5 mins. (1 min per slide or 30 secs per slide of more than 5)
Creative, artistic, and descriptive, mainly using your own words. Please do not copy from websites or papers that have been used in other courses. That is still considered plagiarism and will be flagged in turn it in
