You will be required to analyse and visualise a set of data provided in Microsoft Excel format to demonstrate your technical and story-telling skills. You will write your findings in a report, supported by screenshots of your Excel work. To direct your work, you will be given a set of instructions to undertake, which will cover a variety of conceptual and practical demands. The context of your analysis will be partly driven by the data provided but you will be tasked with exploring these data and choosing appropriate visualisation and analytic techniques to provide key insights.
An important outcome of this work is the communication of an impactful narrative to inform decision-making; a narrative that should satisfy both technical and non- technical audiences. You will also be encouraged to assess the quality of the data itself and make suggestion as to how it could be improved in a hypothetical second cycle of data analysis.
