You must read it closely, develop a thesis statement, provide a detailed discussion and analysis and a transformative approach to assist in unmaking the criminalized structures and systems in place. You must discuss in detail the role of white supremacy, settler colonialism, and the history of colonialism to contextualize this essay. Was police intervention the right approach in this situation? Do we need police to Intervene in situations where a mental health check is required?  What would a practice of radical care in this situation look like and how might it have saved Chantel’s life and provide her with the support she needed.  Based on your readings, create a Radical Care Approach for intervention in mental health checks and crises of individuals often viewed as posing a threat.
