Write and argument about one author’s collection of work that expresses personal perspective, interpretation, judgment, and critical evaluation of the works. Include background information and historical perspective as they relate to the author’s writing and use of literary elements including theme, characterization, language, tone, point of view, structure, and/or message. Examples of specific works of the author as well as outside sources should be used to support the overall thesis statement. The author’s body of work should include at least FOUR short stories, novellas, novels, poems, essays, and/or plays. This MLA formatted paper should include at least 5 pages of written content and a Works Cited page.
