Write an essay (minimum 1000 words) on Nuclear Chemistry addressing specifically the following five points. 
The word count does not include Works Cited/References.  
Prepare a table listing ten (10) different radioactive elements and their half –lives. 
Out of the above ten, select three different radioactive elements and describe their uses/applications. 
Describe how nuclear power is generated. 
Describe why “nuclear fusion” is not used to generate nuclear power. 
Describe environmental safety concerns related to nuclear power generation.   
This project must be submitted through Blackboard either as a word document or as a pdf file. No other types of files will be accepted. 
Acknowledge your sources (a minimum of two) via in-text citations, each of which corresponds to an entry in an alphabetical list of works at the end of your paper (Works Cited or References).   
To do the Works Cited/ References page:  
Include the author (last name and initials), date (year only), title of the article (capitalize only the first letter of the title and any proper nouns), title of the magazine (periodical) in italics, volume (italic), issue in parentheses, and page numbers. 
Example. 
Smith, C. J. (2014). Chemical Elements. Time Magazine, 4(2), 35-42. 
If in a book:  
Include the author, date, title, city of publication, state of publication (abbreviation like AL for Alabama or if a country other than USA write out), publisher, and page numbers. 
Example: 
Raven, Johnson, Losos, & Singer, 2014. Biology (7th ed.). New York, NY: McGraw- 
Hill, 150-160. 
If a website: 
Include the author, date, title of the article, title of periodical (just like for a magazine) or title of the site if it isn’t actually an article, date retrieved, and the entire website address.
