1. Description: Select one concept in the evolution and growth of the U.S. health care system and describe it. Concepts include, but are not limited to, political factors, economic factors, social factors, private or government health insurance, the evolution of hospitals, and advances in medicine (there are others, pick one).
2. Feelings: Describe what were you thinking and feeling when learning about this concept. What was good or bad about the experience (the experience of learning about the concept)? Were you surprised? Were you angry? Are you troubled about the deep political divide that seems to delay any progress to improve our health care system? Did you have an epiphany (oh, now I get it)? Are you happy that the U.S. health care system is technologically advanced and well-staffed by experts?
3. Analysis: What sense can you make of the concept? Is it right, is it wrong? Is it just? Is it socially responsible? Does it support our free-market system?
4. Conclusion: What else could have been done about the concept (your opinion)?
