Write a paper examining the issue of victim blaming. Begin by discussing Mendelsohn’s theory of victimization and Opportunity Theory (Opportunity Model of Victimization). Your discussion of victim blaming should include an overview of this issue in victimology (not simply a personal opinion or a brief definition) and an examination of how it relates to Mendelsohn’s theory and Opportunity Theory.

To be clear, you cannot rely solely on the textbook for this assignment. Wikipedia or similar internet sources will not be accepted as scholarly sources of information in this course.
You must use APA formatting for your references. Your paper must be a minimum of 12 pages to a maximum of 15 double-spaced pages, using Times New Roman 12-point font, not including the title page or reference pages. Marks will be lost if the paper is not between 12 and 15 pages.
