Towards the end of the video, Del (Mapa), delves into the other characteristics of the children (able bodied, white, intelligent), and argues that “If they have to deal with a little bit of discomfort because they have a mapa, or because their gender expression doesn’t match what other people think it should be, gender confusion is a small price to pay for social progress.” What does Del mean by this?
3. In Sweden, schools are legally mandated by the government to allow boys and girls to develop the interests without the limitation of gender norms. Could such a policy ever exist in the United States? Should it?
