STANDARD RULES OF PROBATION
Will not commit any other offenses.
You will inform your probation officer if you encounter law enforcement.
A fine will be imposed.
Remain in state.
No contact with a certain person or place.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR SPECIFIC VIOLATIONS
Shawnee county and Wyandotte county.
How many hours of community service must you do?
Will not own a firearm.
Shall not travel so far.
Only use prescribed medication by a doctor.
SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION
The percentage of the completion of probation in the department of justice.
The number of people in prison because of probation violation.
The reason why the number went up in the prison population.
CONSEQUENUENCES OF BREAKING PROBATION
What happens to a person who breaks probation.
What is the process that they will go through.
What is the consequence of breaking probation.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A PROBATIONER IS ARRESTED FOR A NEW CRIME
You will be arrested.
Judge will take into account factors to determine whether to set a probationer free on a probation violation bail.
Will consider the person’s original crime and the act that violated probation.
Will review the criminal background in the community and whether they are a drifter or a business owner.
Will also consider the probation officer and the district attorneys views on the matter.
