This is a mini ethnographic paper, mini because it had to be conducted over a very short period of time. It should include my observations from interviews or simply by observing the people around me if what I observe can become part of my thesis.
My thesis hasn’t yet been formed, but I am writing about the aversion of using one’s native tongue to describe queer identity and to navigate queer experiences. I am focusing on the Arabic language, simply because I speak it and thus am more familiar. 
I have attached one fieldnote and one interview transcript (link), I plan to have another interview by tommorrow. I would have loved to write this myself but I’m on a very intense time crunch and this paper is worth a good chunk of my grade.
I have also attached some of the secondary research I’ve used to base this paper off of.
I would appreciate if the writer is willing to chat with me through the writing process if they have any questions or concerns, I don’t want this paper to come off as superficial or lacking thorough understading of the subject.
