This assignment / paper is not a typical term paper or opinion paper,
rather, a research based paper that is similar in nature to a mini-thesis, as
help with your continuation into graduate school.
I would like you to introduce your future career path in
Gerontology.  Please describe your future
job, duties, and why you selected this career. 
Looking through the topics in this Financial Planning for the Aging
course, which topic will you deal with or work with or incorporate into your
future career?
I would like you to further explore that area of study. Please elaborate
on this topic, such as health care for the aging, or estate planning (legal
issues with the aging), etc.
What areas of this topic do you feel you can help or address when you
are working?  What do you hope to
accomplish in this career?  Are there any
challenges or problems you can address?
You can use articles, videos, support material that I have offered but
you will also need to introduce at least three new sources; one source must be
a journal article. A journal article includes original research with a
hypothesis and introduction, a method, sample and measures, results, findings
and discussion.  Your goal is to find a
journal article with research that supports or conflicts the issues / problems
you are hoping to address with your career.  You are to voice your opinion and have a
stance on what you think of it. You can refer to the research and findings from
the journal article.
Refer to at least 3 support articles (sources which can include Ted
Talks, Podcasts, videos, etc.)  on your
chosen topic that summarizes, analyzes, discusses, and compares and contrasts
concepts from those these articles, including the one study (journal).
