This assignment is having 3 different questions. Each question will need a few sentences to explain the answer.
1- In a given reaction, there is not enough of one reagent to use up the other reagent completely. The reagent in short supply LIMITS the quantity of product that can be formed. In class, we discuss the limiting reagent with comparison to the analogy of making teasets. you need to write a few sentences with a real life analogy for the limiting reagent to discuss HOW to determine the limiting reagent in that analogy.
2- State functions are properties that only depend on the state or condition of the system but not on the paths they take from one condition to another. Examples: temperature, pressure, volume, enthalpy, and so on.  you need to post a single post to show an example of state functions and make a few sentences to explain the property and why it’s a state function, and use a real example to illustrate that, like the one in the lecture slides about the altitude and elevation between 2 cities.
3- Quantum numbers are important concept to define the energy states of electrons in atoms. It’s crucial for understanding the periodic table and interactions between electrons and atoms. Students usually struggle to remember the rules for how the quantum numbers are defined and related to each other. In the lecture we discuss the analogy to the a building system with designation numbers for desks. you need to submit a paragraph to show an analogy of how the quantum numbers are defined and related to a real life example, make a few sentences to explain the similar rules to assign the electrons, and use a real example to illustrate that, like the one in the lecture slides about the floor configuration to spdf notation.
