This assignment has two parts – completing the business pitch as well as the comprehensive business plan.
Part 1: Your Business Pitch
Prepare Your Pitch:
Develop a concise, compelling pitch that summarizes your business idea, the problem it solves, your target market, and your unique value proposition.
Your pitch should also briefly cover key aspects of your business plan, such as your business model, marketing strategy, financial highlights, and what you are seeking from the ‘sharks’ (investors).
Recording the Pitch:
Record a video of your pitch. Aim for a length of 6-8 minutes.
Ensure good audio and video quality. You can use a smartphone or webcam. Make sure the lighting and sound are clear.
Be creative and engaging. Remember, you’re trying to convince potential investors of the worthiness of your business idea.
Post to Discussion Board:
Upload your recorded pitch to the course’s discussion board.
Ensure your file is in a commonly accessible format or upload it to a video-sharing platform (like YouTube or Vimeo) and share the link if direct upload poses challenges.
Engage with Your Classmates:
After posting your pitch, view and comment on at least [number] of your classmates’ pitches. Provide constructive feedback and ask questions about their business plans.
Part 2: Submission of Your Complete Business Plan
Objective: Submit a detailed and comprehensive business plan that encapsulates all the critical aspects of your proposed business. This document should reflect the culmination of your work throughout the course, incorporating your initial concept, market research, business model, and strategies for operation and growth.
