Themes, ideas, important points, and contentions should all be appropriately
referenced
with citations and page numbers. Endnotes, or citations in the
body of the paper, should be used in a consistent and clear manner.
Quotations of three lines or more should be indented and single-spaced. The
pages in your paper should be numbered. Standard margins should be
employed for each page. Endnotes are not part of the page count.

“national style”, as it is
sometimes labeled, as these have been described
by a number of scholars who study
American history and society. Include in your description underlying assumptions and
values in much of American society and implications for perceptions,
formulation and
implementation of, and public reactions to American
foreign policy decisions and
participation in international
affairs. Compare your description of American political culture and
possible implications for insights into American foreign policy behavior
with the analysis and conclusions of one (1) of the following essays.
