The reflective journal is a secure place for you to comment on your clinical experience and discuss any specific issues related to your progress in this leadership role.

A monthly journal entry (for a total of four) should include the following information:

• A brief overview of the clinical experience for the month and its major activities.
• Issues or concerns that arose during the clinical time.
• Thoughts or feelings that you experienced, even if the reason for them is not immediately apparent to you.
• Recommendations for how you might handle a situation differently (if applicable).
• Progress toward your project.
