The purpose of this paper is to debate the Pro’s and Con’s of the Death Penalty.
Questions to be answered:
Is the Death Penalty a deterrent to a person committing a violent crime? Why or Why not?
Submission Instructions:
The paper is to be clear and concise and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation, and misspelling.
The debate is to be 2-3 pages in length.
The student will argue the Pro’s and Con’s of administering the Death Penalty as a punishment.
The student will argue five different Pro’s and Con’s about the death penalty.
For example : One group of people may say that the death penalty is an effective punishment because it prevents some people from committing a murder. However, their are groups of people that say that the death penalty is not a deterrent.
Include support and reasons for each argument.
