The objectives for this culminating assignment for this course are:
Demonstrate an acute understanding of leadership principles and how they apply to management in the sports industry.
Identify how one can apply the leadership principles to their own professional management practices.
Throughout this course, we’ve considered things that you want to work on as a manager, your areas of strength and weakness, and key competencies for effective leadership. This final assignment is designed for you to demonstrate your broad understanding of the applicability of The Leadership Challenge principles to your own professional goals.
In order to provide you with some flexibility with how you demonstrate your understanding, I’ve included several options for the final assignment; each is designed for you to take a deep-dive into an aspect of The Leadership Challenge that you found particularly interesting or would benefit your professional development.
