The main purpose of the philosophy paper is to provide a novel argument in support of a novel thesis. The paper should consist of a an introduction where you present your thesis and explain how the paper is structured, a careful exposition of one or more philosophers’ arguments, an argument in favor of your thesis, and a section where you articulate and respond to objections. There should be 1-2 objections that you really dive into. Pretend you are being told to argue for that objection and do your best, then get back to your essay and discuss why the objection does not withstand your supported argument. Also, this paper should be written in he first person. The paper should be written using the attached 2 sources written by Ackerman and Miller. The other two attached documents serve as the guidline for how to write the essay. These instructions are extremely important and lay the entire framework for the paper.
