The final draft of the paper should be 12-15 pages, double-spaced, 1-inch margin, in 12pt font, and turned in on Canvas. It should have your name, a title, an introduction, a body with different sections (subtitles within the body are recommended), a conclusion, and a bibliography. Citations should be either in text or in footnotes, and include the author’s last name, the year, and, if applicable, the page number. Please make sure you submit your paper in a Word or PDF format. The body of the paper should be all written out. Make sure that, in this final draft, you have addressed the questions and concerns that were raised in earlier stages of the research paper project. This is the final step, so put the extra effort and feel proud of all you have accomplished in this major project! Good luck! 
Presentation (20%): Toward the end of the semester, you will conduct a small research project analyzing US foreign policy toward a country of your choice. You will present your findings in an oral presentation in class in the last two weeks of class. This assignment will be done in pairs of 2 students working together. (Note: if you want, you can turn this project into a research paper that can replace one of your exam grades – this can be done individually or in pairs).
