Term Papers: Is worth 100 points. The term papers must focus on one prescription or over the counter drugs that are abused (you need to select a drug not a category of drugs: for example you might select Xanax but you cannot select benzodiazepines), must be psychopharmacology related topic such as discussion of a drug, some aspect of the pharmacokinetics of drugs, the pharmacodynamics
of drugs, or how drugs affect particular behaviors. It must be typed, double-spaced, use APA style for citations and references, and approximately 10 pages in length. Your paper must have at least five (5) journals and no more than three (3) internet sources.
You cannot write about any Methadone drug, ADHD drug or any drug used for addiction maintenance unless you get an OK from me.
If you submit the paper that is an Methadone drug, ADHD drug or any drug used for addiction maintenance not approved by me you will get a zero. If you plagiarize your paper you will have earned a zero with no redoing.
The paper will be graded on the basis of :
1. organization and development of the topic (content), and
2. spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other aspects of writing mechanics (presentation).
