Students will demonstrate understanding of multicultural issues associated with a clinical case by addressing in a 3-5 page paper, a specific counseling scenario where there is at least two cultural differences between student and client. Your paper should be in APA format. Choose an intersection of TWO microcultures that make up a population with which you are not familiar, or with whom you feel uncomfortable. 
Discuss how to assist children with Austism spectrum disorder and ADHD (this is the culture difference)
Student will present an analysis of cultural differences between the student and a client (actual/fictitious).
Student will review own cultural identifiers and then those of the client. (approximately one paragraph)
A fictitious or real-life case scenario where the cultures of the student and client are different by ethnicity, nationality, age, gender, sexual orientation, mental and physical characteristics, education, family values, religious and spiritual values, and/or socioeconomic status. Student will discuss your own personal identity development and relevance to the counseling relationship.
Student will review the ethical and social implications of how cultural differences between the student and client may impact the counseling relationship.
Student will discuss strategies/interventions that would be helpful for you to feel comfortable discussing multicultural aspects in session.
Student will discuss appropriate multicultural/social justice theoretical approaches that could be used in session with client.
Student will describe how you would discuss the client in supervision and what may be needed from your supervisor to assist with working with the client.
Student will describe your role in advocating for cultural differences and social justice and intentionality of removing biases and discrimination for your client and other diverse populations.
