Social Change Project
(25% of grade)
Students are expected to participate in a social change campaign/project, designed to reinforce environmental health content and knowledge of presented course materials. To participate in a social change campaign and complete the course assignment, students will need to go to www.dosomething.orgLinks to an external site.. 
A one-paged single-spaced typed paper providing the following information is required and must be submitted via Canvas
Also, use the APA reference style to add any work that is taken from an external source.  You are required to have at least one additional reference, in addition to citing www.dosomething.org  Links to an external site.
So, all students must provide at least two references. When submitting the assignment, address each component of the assignment, and be sure to add the assignment topics and questions as headers before your address each component.   Points will be deducted if not all assignment requirements are completed.   
The ASSIGNMENT: 
• KNOW IT: Provide information regarding the campaign you selected
• The problem and solution
• Explain why the campaign is important to you
• PLAN IT: Provide the campaign participation plan.
• Campaign participation plan provided via www.dosomething.orgLinks to an external site. and
• Any additional plans you plan to implement regarding the campaign, if any.
• DO IT: Complete the campaign plan.
• PROVE IT: Provide proof that you participated in the campaign
• Submit your picture(s) – as described in the campaign; and any additional documents.
• Explain how your participation in a particular campaign relates to the  Environmental Health course.
