Select a minimum of nine academic articles or chapters that address topics relevant to your research proposal “Latinx Voter engagement and representation” in Latino politics. 1. What are the main factors influencing Latinx voter turnout in local, state, and
national elections, and how do these factors vary across different regions and
demographic subgroups?
2. How do political parties and grassroots organizations engage with Latinx
communities to round up voters, and what strategies are most effective in
enhancing Latinx voter participation and representation?
3. To what extent do electoral systems, voter suppression tactics, and
socio-economic disparities affect the political representation of Latinx communities, and how can these barriers be used to ensure fair political
participation and representation?
For each source, provide a summary that includes:
A brief overview of the article or chapter, including the research question(s) addressed. (two-three sentences)
Description of the data used (e.g., qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys, archival analysis). (two-three sentences)
Main findings, highlighting the answer(s) to the research question(s) posed. (three-four sentences)
Reflect on the relevance of each source to your own research proposal by discussing:
How do the research question(s) and findings of the source align with or contribute to your understanding of your research topic? (three-four sentences)
Any methodological approaches or theoretical frameworks used in the source that could inform your own research design. (two-three sentences)
Compile your annotated bibliography, ensuring clarity, coherence, and proper citation format for each entry.
Format the citation style to either MLA or APA.
