Reinforcer project to demonstrate effective use of reinforcement on 1 target behavior.
identify a target goal to increase for their learner – preferably this will be a skill that may potentially REPLACE a challenging behavior that you are facing.  Remember, all your projects should be on ONE learner and each project we do in this course will build on each other.   You will:
provide background information on your learner related to the target behavior you are increasing
identify a target behavior to increase and define it using examples and none examples
collect baseline data to demonstrate low levels of the behavior you want to increase
identify possible reinforcers using a preference assessment of your choice (ex: single item, paired choice, MSW, MSWO), and
demonstrate effective use of the selected reinforcer using one of the discussed reinforcer assessments (ex: concurrent, multiple schedule, changing criterion).
A written summary of the project must be submitted in APA format with references and citations, discussing why the target behavior was collected, the details of the procedure, the results and brief discussion of possible confounds and changes you would implement next time.  Please include raw data of your preference assessment and raw data of your reinforcer assessment in your appendix.
