Purpose:
Drawing on what you learned in the course, you will propose an intervention plan for a community of your choice. In this paper, you should bridge practice, policy, and theory by integrating what you find in your community with what we have been reading.
Instruction:
In a short semester, doing a thorough intervention would be a challenge, so what you will do is propose a thorough plan for conducting one of the following:
Community Conflict Assessment;
Community Conflict Resolution Training for Community Leaders;
Proposed Policy Change and Implementation; or,
Intervention Led By You in a Community.
How to Submit:
Submit your response as an 8- to 10-page (x2 spaced) document formatted in Microsoft Word, Google, or PDF file. The 8 to 10 pages do not include a title page, references, or pictures/appendices. Your submission should use a formatting style that is most comfortable to you (MLA, APA, etc.).
High-quality final products will have the following qualities:
Contain cover page and reference/works cited page
Contain a short table of contents
Use headings and subheadings when appropriate
Reference the course material, textbook, and articles
Reference outside articles, videos, and other resources
Showcase an in-depth knowledge of the course by referencing the material/knowledge gained from across the entirety of the course
Displays creativity and uniqueness
Be free of spelling/grammar issues as well as have a good flow throughout the paper
