Part B: Letter to Sutherland Shire Council proposing a strategy the council could use to manage the
beaches at Cronulla. (Approximately 800 words)
The letter should:
– Be addressed to the Sutherland Shire Council and use formal language in a letter format
– Outline the problem/s that need to be addressed
– Describe what you have learnt from your study of Bate Bay
– Clearly identify ONE management strategy the council should use and justify using evidence
from your research why the management strategy should be used
– Discuss how the management strategy proposed would address the concerns of at least two
stakeholders.
The letter will need to be typed, printed and attached to the fieldwork booklet for final submission
