Objective: As college students, you will be entering the workforce before you know it. The goal for many of you should be to land a “career” type job as soon as possible. This project is meant to serve as an initial framework for a career outline. The project is composed of three components:
1. Narrative description of dream job. We have spent the semester discussing many different job possibilities. Some came into the semester with a refined focus while others were unsure. At this point, you should have a more narrowed vision on your future (it is ok if you are still not 100% certain). Possible information to include are: (40%)
a. Why the career is your dream job
i. What events in your life has led this job to resonate with you
b. Description of career demands
i. Knowledge
ii. Schedule
iii. Education/certification/licensure requirements
c. Setting for career (hospital, private practice, etc)
d. Average salary (include reference)
e. Any appropriate additional information
