Executive Summary (1 page)

Do NOT exceed one page on this executive
summary!
·        
This should be one, single-spaced page at the beginning
of the document. Please don’t include this summary in the presentation. This is
for the report only.
·        
Brief description of the context at the time of
the case. Remember, for the report, I am the audience and I represent the board
of directors and TMT. I am very familiar with the firm.
·        
Problem identification. Give me a sense that you
understand the problem and the magnitude of the problem. Identify at least two
key issues from the case.
·        
Tools/concepts/frameworks used to understand,
analyze and break down the problem/context. You should give me a sense for why
you use these particular tools for this situation.
·        
Existing or potential ethical and corporate
social responsibility (CSR) issues of the company.
·        
Your recommendation. In addition to telling what
your recommendation plan is, it would help if you briefly acknowledge some of
the risks involved with your recommendation. However, you can counter that with
a brief discussion of why/how this is a better strategic fit than alternative
options you considered. And I don’t want to see a lame explanation such as “our
recommendation is the best solution because the pros outweigh the cons”. That
should be rather obvious. Give me a sense for why that is.
II.                 
Introduction (3 paragraphs)

presentation, there should be a hook for the audience. What’s going on? Why is
this interesting?

Problem identification: Give us a sense for why
this is so important? What’s at stake if we don’t act?
·        
Talk about what the current strategy is in
India.  Focus primarily on 3 stars,
moving to include 2 and 5 stars, start talking about Inclusion Program.
