NFL Super Bowl Bid Assignment and Rubric

Students will work in groups of three (3) to prepare a Super Bowl bid for a city designated and approved by Professor. Students will open the link above and review the document by the NFL regarding the requirements for cities to win Super Bowl bids. Students must strictly adhere to the regulations provided and create a 2-3 minute video utilizing the sections listed below as portion of your presentation. Next students will create their own honors award for any active or retired NFL player or coach. Students will use technology to highlight the name of the award, the history behind the award (why it was started) and why you chose the person the award was provided too. Students will create an entire awards program and submit an award program and award run of show from 7:00am- until the award show is over. This will include production, venue setup, catering, special guest arrival, special guests seating, MC, audio visual and any other information required to run a successful program. The presentation of the award will be done in class on your scheduled day. Students will have 3 minutes total to discuss reason for award and highlight recipient.
