Major Assignment: Language Analysis (75 points).  The purpose of this major assignment is to apply your understanding of linguistics concepts and second language acquisition theory to learner language. Your final product will consist of two parts: an interaction analysis of an English learner’s speaking (Part I) and an analysis of the English learner’s writing (Part II).  Note: You may not use a friend or family member as the English learner. The learner should be at an intermediate level in English. If they are too advanced, it will be difficult to complete the assignment successfully. 
2. Transcript Temptale and Interaction Chart is also part of the assignment the temptale 
should be submitted in its own pdf. The English Learner interviewee for this assignment/paper should be a young student either in Elementary or Middle adapting in the education system/classes as an English Learner. Student background, family history the student personality 
is definitely important to include in the paper. And also any challenges and language 
barriers the student is facing in school in regards to learning English language.
