Jailbreaking mobile devices has been around as long as we have had these devices. The term is typically associated with nefarious and malicious activity. However, as the textbook points out, there are useful aspects of jailbreaking that can be used in forensic investigations. This week, you investigate these useful applications of jailbreaking and select at least one for deeper research.
After reading the assigned content from the textbook and the lecture, prepare a short paper that describes at least one useful aspect of jailbreaking a mobile device. Use the textbook, Google Scholar, or other Internet resources to support your representation. Your paper should be written in no less than 500 words and no more than about 1,000 words. Use APA format and include an abstract, introduction, discussion, and conclusion. You are welcome to include any other sources as long as they are academically suitable for this type of work (i.e. Wikipedia is not permitted).
