The paper! Plus quotes! Plus controlled citations! The thesis! We’re looking for a 5 paragraph essay similar to a comp 2 paper. You’re going to have an introductory paragraph ending in a thesis. The thesis needs to be a statement of your opinion, it needs to be in some detail. In other words, “a subject and then an opinion” about that subject. Based on Dante’s Inferno Dante Alighieri; Inferno: 925-929 and 929-1084 
So this is a 5- paragraph essay. The second third and fourth paragraphs are body paragraphs. Each paragraph should be 200 words as a goal. As a goal, however, 300 words would be better.
Your thesis together with your topic sentences taken together should form an outline. Roman number one, a, b, c.
….Or a,b,c,d if you have 4 body paragraphs.
Citation will be standard MLA 9th edition: make parenthetical in-text citations and also a list of works cited at the end of your document to include your textbook as well as the two e-references.
