INFOGRAPHIC ASSIGNMENT #3 – Hominin Fossils
For this assignment, you will choose one hominin fossil specimen and create an infographic. Your infographic should be geared towards a general audience of adults or children who might visit a venue such as the Hall of Human Origins at either the American Museum of Natural History or the Smithsonian Institution:

An infographic is a visual and graphic presenting information, data, and patterns clearly and concisely to a specific audience. Examples of infographics can be viewed here: http://tinyurl.com/infographicexamplesLinks to an external site..  Free software such as Piktochart or Canva can be helpful. You might also choose to use PowerPoint or even draw it by hand if you are particularly artistic.
At minimum, your infographic should include the following:
A main title for the infographic
5 sections of information with headings
1 graph/chart
3-5 graphics/images
1 section should be a list of 5-8 sources you used during your research
6-10 total facts on the infographic
