In this essay, you will describe a recent (within the last seven years) or new entrant, emerging entrant, or new communication technology to the NAS. There are many possibilities and options with a topic for this essay. You may choose a technology that is still being tested. For example, remote towers are only a concept in the NAS, but other countries are in the testing phase. Remember, different countries have unique perspectives or are in various stages of airspace development.

The essay must be written according to the current APA format to include:
A title page
The body of the paper:
The body must be at least three pages but not longer than four pages.
Identify and define the new technology or entrant to the NAS.
Describe how communications in ATC will improve ATC/ATM operations by integrating new ideas and concepts.
Outline the benefits and challenges associated with your topic for ATC.
Provide a conclusion that includes the importance of new and different entrants to the airspace along with new methods of communication between air controllers and their new entrants.
