I choose my topic to be about International Students and creating a safe space and provide resources to make it a smoother transiton.

The cultural problem faced by international students can vary widely depending on the specific context and the individual experiences of the students. However, some common challenges and issues that international students may encounter include:
Language Barriers: Language proficiency can be a significant challenge for international students, particularly if they are studying in a country where the primary language of instruction is different from their native language. Difficulty in understanding lectures, participating in class discussions, and completing assignments can impact academic performance and overall learning experience.
Cultural Adjustment: International students often experience cultural shock and adjustment difficulties when they move to a new country with different cultural norms, values, and social expectations. Adapting to new cultural practices related to communication styles, social interactions, and academic norms can be challenging and may lead to feelings of isolation and homesickness.
Social Integration: Building social connections and forming friendships with local students and peers can be challenging for international students, especially if there are language and cultural barriers. International students may feel isolated or excluded from social activities and may struggle to find a sense of belonging within the university community.
Academic Pressure: International students may face additional academic pressure due to high expectations from themselves, their families, or their home countries. Balancing academic demands, language challenges, and cultural adjustment can be overwhelming and may contribute to stress, anxiety, and mental health issues.
Discrimination and Stereotyping: International students may encounter discrimination, prejudice, or stereotyping based on their nationality, race, or ethnicity. Negative stereotypes or biases may affect their interactions with peers, professors, or the broader community, leading to feelings of marginalization and unfair treatment.
