Answer the following questions: (1) Why were these women criminalized? (2) How were they criminalized? (3) Was the media biased? If so, how? (4) Why were these women not seen as victims? Was it because of their race, gender, class or sexuality? Or was it all of those factors? (5) How was evidence used in court? Was the evidence truthful? (6) Do you think the sentences were justified? Explain your answer.
