Hello,
I have attached my outline for the paper.
Here is my teacher comment:
“Hello Andrea,
Your outline is coherent, but we need to know
in more detail what you want to do because there is a lot written on the subject, and I want to ensure that you can provide a personal analysis.”
My teacher wants to make sure that the work is more detailed and includes personal
analysis! She wants new ideas even on topics where there is already a lot of
documentation. This is a comparative law course, not a synthesis paper.
You need to
compare Canada’s Bill C-27 with European law (see the outline). She doesn’t just want
social and technical etc. issues but rather a legal analysis and specific questions.
The
paper should be single-spaced and follow these guidelines:
– Include laws and case law and about 4-5 doctrinal sources.
– Use the McGill Guide for citations and bibliography.
– Approximately 2-3 pages for the introduction, which should include the context (the
what, why, and how).
– 10 pages for the development (one part comparative legislation and one part personal
opinion).
– 1 page for the conclusion.
Our teacher allows us to use ChatGPT, but if we do, we need to take screenshots of each
search because since this is an AI course, she wants to see our searches and questions to understand how it helps us. It would be easier not to use it, but if you want to use it, you
can still do so and send me screenshots of the questions posed to ChatGPT and its
responses.
Please, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! I prefer that you ask questions to
ensure all my requests are met.
Thank you!
