For your semester paper assignment, you will write a literature review on the topic of labor. Your task is to find, summarize, and organize academic research.
Decide on a question that you can potentially answer by searching the academic literature. Your literature review will revolve around answering the research question you come up with. Make the question simple. 
Find 10 academic sources on your question (if you have a number of books in your list, then I do not expect you to have as many sources; but if you have a high portion of articles, then you should have a greater overall number of sources).
Make a list of your sources.
For each source, take notes on the argument and important types of evidence.
Try to organize your sources into a few different categories or along a few dimensions. 
In a paper of less than 10 pages, describe the different categories of literature, arguments made in response to your original question, and types of evidence. At the end of the literature review, you should state whether you think that your question has been satisfactorily answered, or whether there is a “gap” in the literature (and explain what that gap is).
Your literature review should be in standard format (double-spaced, 12 pt. font, etc.). All of your sources should be listed in a bibliography at the end of your paper. You should divide your paper into multiple sections with section headings, corresponding to how you are categorizing the literature and leading up to your concluding section on what gaps, if any, remain.
SOURCES
– There are two sources in the downloadable files to use. They are titled “Meyer 2016” and “Eidlin 2015”
– The rest should be scholarly/academic sources, not regular articles. Google scholar is a good way to find some. 
INSTRUCTIONS CLARIFICATION:
– The sources list and its notes should be 1-3 pages and should be at the end of the paper
(come up with the sources list first before you start writing)
– The actual paper itself should be at least 9 pages
– Write in APA 7th edition format
