The purpose of this assessment is to record your research into your professional future. This should be a professional style report that traces your research on your career options. You should demonstrate meaningful self-insight, knowledge of employment trends and contemporary workforce requirements. It will require you to make a critical interpretation of career research and use appropriate reputable general and academic sources. You must adhere to academic literacy and professional presentation requirements. 
This should be written up as a formal report. You are encouraged to be creative in your presentation of the material in order to target the appropriate audience (i.e., stakeholders), figures will not count towards the word count provided that they are explicitly referenced in the main body of the text. Tables will count towards the word count. Citations and references should be in APA 7th format. A minimum of 12 sources. 
The report should be 2,000 words in total and include the following key elements: 
·       Introduction (250 words) 
o   How you have gone about the research 
o   A brief overview of your career goals and aspirations 
·       Self-Analysis (500 words) 
o   Personal strengths 
o   Employability literacies to work on 
o   Personal reflection – how you feel your skills and attributes align with your ideal career goal 
·       Opportunity analysis (500 words) 
o   Industry labour market – what roles are available in your chosen industry in your ideal location. Discuss salaries and projections for demand. 
o   Specific role availability – use job websites to highlight several specific roles in your ideal industry and outline the skills that are required for these roles. 
o   Availability of potential entry-level roles that could lead to your eventual goal 
·       Implications of this research for your career plan (500 words)
o   Describe skills that are expected from employers and match them to skills that you currently possess 
o   Highlight skills that you feel you will need to grow upon and develop further 
o   Discuss how the existing opportunities within your industry align with your current situation. For example, will you need to relocate?
