In your family, has the importance of religion been passed down from previous generations, and do you practice this from of religion or spirituality? Why or why not?
Give 3 reasons you continue practicing the religion introduced to you as a child. If you do not practice this religion, give three reasons you do not.

For this week’s assignment you are free to choose which assignment you prefer to do. That means you can choose to do one or the other but do not do both assignments! Your two options are below.
1.The first assignment focuses on Chapter 11. You should research and write a brief paper (250 words, APA style) on the gendered structure of the occupational field you plan to enter. Is the occupation itself considered women’s work or men’s work? Is there gender segregation within the occupation? What is the wage gap between men and women in the field? Students can access occupational information through the U.S. Department of Labor website (www.dol.gov)
OR
2. You are to create a PSA to campaign for social change or educate the public about resolving ONE of the sex and social issues from chapter 12. This includes; birth control, new reproductive technologies, abortion, pornography and the sexualization of culture, teen pregnancy, or sexual violence. Choose only one of these for your PSA. The PSA should be in the form of a short video, 30sec -1 minute addressing the specific subject of public concern.  Come up with a short script, and feel free to be creative!
A PSA is a message shared with the general public that raises awareness about an issue.
