What is fear of crime and why is it such an important concept to address? Discuss how we came to rely on fear of crime, the critical issues in fear of crime research, how fear of crime is used by the justice system, and what can be done to intervene and impact fear of crime.
Comprehensively compare and contrast intimate partner violence with cyber victimization. At minimum, make sure your response addresses how people come to be victimized, justice system responses to these victimizations, and the strengths and weaknesses of intervention/prevention efforts. Discuss other issues that you believe to be appropriate for this comparison of these two victimizations.
What is multiple victimization? Discuss the types/kinds of multiple victimization as well as the importance of this issue and types when it comes to the study of, prevention/intervention of, justice system response to, and other critical issues and shortcomings in the academic literature.
Women and men can have different experiences when it comes to victimization. Socially situate how sex and/or gender impacts the victimization experience of men and women differently. Be sure to identify as many different issues and/or problems where women and men differ in their experiences of victimization, social reactions and justice responses to victimization, and any other differences that you believe to be compelling in describing how gender and sex may condition differential experiences.
Social reactions to victimization are important. Identify and describe all the ways that social reactions to victimization are important to victims before, during, and after their victimization. Be specific in citing course materials when responding to this answer.
