Create a slide presentation that describes lessons learned
through your experiences as an intern, employee in healthcare (for students
receiving waivers only), or following completion of your project based learning
experience.  All presentations must
follow the format outlined below.
Presentation Content:
Slide: Title of
Presentation (Students can select title they feel is most appropriate).  Include date, student’s first and last name, name of organization or
employer.  Not applicable for
project-based learning.
Slide:  List objectives of presentation (maximum 3)
Slide: Photo of internship supervisor, job supervisor, or
professional colleague/or mentor for those who completed project-based
learning.  Include a 3-5 sentence bio that
includes individual’s name, title, primary role in organization/institution, years
of service in the organization
or career field, and degrees, certifications,
etc.
Slide(s):  Three maximum.  Describe a special project or
responsibilities completed during your internship, employment in healthcare
(those who received waivers), or as part of your project-based learning.  You may also include lessons learned about
health administration, management, health care and/or community/population
health during your experience.
When describing projects or tasks completed, include the
following points:
1.      
Purpose or overall description of the project.
2.      
Steps used to complete the project.
3.      
Summary of any results gathered.
4.      
Summarize what you learned in the classroom that
was observed, experienced, or that can be applied to your internship/or job.
If your presentation focuses on lessons learned about health
administration, heath care, management and/or community/population health ,
follow these guidelines:
1.      
Summarize what you learned in the classroom that
was observed or experienced during your internship/or job and/or lessons about
professional development.
2.      
List networking opportunities (i.e., meetings,
conferences, etc.) and/or professional contacts made during the internship/or
job.
