Below I have attached the essay instructions. The PowerPoint portion of the essay has nothing to do with what I need done. I strictly need an essay on Arnold Shoenburg. It also needs a bibliograph at the end.

Why Are They Forgotten? 
Objective: Please choose a significant person we have not talked or read about between Chapters 24-37 (options are below) to research why their existence in music history was unique.  Please do not write a boring biography-find a piece that they have written either compositionally or through written text that altered the course of thought or music.  (i.e. Rameau=father of tonality-focus on his writings about the concepts of theory.)  The research should include at least 4 credible (ideally peer reviewed) sources.  Wikipedia will not count.  AI written papers will automatically become a 0 and proper administration will be alerted.  Help is available for finding credible sources for the project, please contact Ms. Nurhak in the music library.

Presentation (30 points): Presentations via Powerpoint/Google Slides/etc. are due 4.30.24  Each person will have 10-12 minutes to present with 1-2 minutes for questions at the end.

Note: If you are wanting to play a snippet of a piece, please do not have excerpts play longer than a total of 90 seconds.

Note: Your presentation is due to me by email/OneDrive BEFORE 10:00am 4.30.24.  This is to make transitions more efficient between presenters. 
Paper (70 points):  The research paper should be a minimum 6pages in length, double spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pointfont (including the periods…)  Turabian format, including a cover page (does not count in your page numbers) and your clearly written thesis of 1-2 sentences.  The paper should not be full of quotes-you may use quotes, however, please summarize the majority of your paper into your own words.  The paper is not a conversation, and should be written in a scholarly manner, including a correctly completed bibliography.  Please exhaust all resources.  This portion of the project is due 4.29.24 by 11:59pm via Blackboard.
