Prepare a 5-7 page paper defining the issue and the need for advocacy. Include supporting
evidence and data as well as a detailed plan of action and the role for long-term care
leadership.
Your paper should follow this outline: 
1. Identification of the critical policy issue or advocacy issue with supporting data and evidence
that is of concern in the long-term care industry (quality of life, medication safety, workforce
development in long-term care, caregiver support, quality data management, etc.) 
2. Recommendations and detailed plan of action 
3. Resources for support (financial, organizational, legislators, etc.) 
4. Role of long-term care leadership in this policy issue or advocacy issue 
5. Conclusion
