Final Project: An Exemplary Figure
Objective: For this project, you will choose:  (Baroque Era, Music, Johann Sebastian Bach)
One historical period from Chapters 1-15 of our text;
One discipline of the humanities from that period; and
One individual who made contributions to that discipline during that period.
Requirements:
Your informative essay must include the following elements:
an introductory paragraph that gives a brief overview of the period you have chosen and introduces your subject;
at least one body paragraph that gives a brief biography of your subject;
at least one body paragraph that explains the individuals, teachers, works or movements that influenced your subject;
at least one body paragraph that identifies and describes one of your subject’s most significant work, and also tells why that work is significant; and
a concluding paragraph that identifies other individuals or works from a later era that were influenced by your subject.
Your informative essay should include at least three outside research sources in addition to the textbook (if you choose to cite the textbook). You will cite your sources using MLA 9 citation style.
